Luis Arias is the author of the academic essay “The Constitutional Precedent as updated and direct source of law in the Contemporary Constitutional Justice in the Dominican Republic” with which he was awarded with the First Place of the Second Constitutional Essay Contest organized by the Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic and the United Nations Development Program of the Dominican Republic (UNDP) in 2014. He also wrote “The Cost of Right and the Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic” published in Gaceta Judicial Magazine 2015. Luis Arias was awarded with the Chevening Scholarship in 2016 as well as the Carolina Scholarship for the 14th edition of the Youth Iberoamerican Leaders Program sponsored by the Carolina Foundation, Spain.
