In view of the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, and after being approved by the National Congress, the Presidency of the Dominican Republic issued Decree No. 134-20 dated March 19, 2020, whereby a state of emergency was declared for the entirety of Dominican territory until Abril 13, 2020.
