Annalisa Jáquez Núñez

Partner at Headrick Rizik Álvarez & Fernández. Admitted to the professional practice in 1999. Her exercise is focused on business matters, including, civil and commercial law, real estate law, financial and regulatory matters. She has extensive experience on mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions and project development, financings, distribution agreements and franchises, foreign investment and free trade zones. She has actively collaborated with the review of drafts of laws and regulations.

Mrs. Jaquez has academic experience as a professor at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).

Annalisa Jáquez is the author of “El Carácter de Exclusividad en los Contratos de Distribución” published in Revista Fórum 2006, Year I, Volume I; “Las Licencias de Uso de Marcas” published in Revista Fórum 2006, Year I, Volume II; “Un Vistazo a los Procedimientos Colectivos: La Recuperación de Empresas en Dificultad y Liquidación Judicial en el Ordenamiento Jurídico Francés” published in Revista Fórum 2007, Year II, Volume I; “La Simplificación de Trámites Administrativos para Proyectos Turísticos: Una Necesidad y Un Reto”, published in Gaceta Judicial 2010, Year 14, Number 288; as well as “Principales Aspectos del Contrato de Compraventa de Reducciones de Emisiones de Carbono ”, published in Gaceta Judicial 2015, Year 19, Number 345. She is also the coauthor of the title “Legislación Mercantil: Organización de los Negocios (Mercantile Legislation: Business Organization)” on the  Guía del Inversionista (Investor’s Guide 2009) of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAM-DR).

Mrs. Jáquez received her Bachelor of Laws, Summa Cum Laude, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 1999. In 2000, she was awarded the Diplôme Superior de L’Université – Droit Commercial  from  L’Université de Droit, d’Économie et de Sciences Sociales de Paris, Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), Paris, France. Furthermore, she obtained her Master’s Dual Degree in Comparative and International Business Law from L’Université de Savoie (Chambéry-Annency), L’Université de Sciences Sociales et Humaines de Grenoble, Pierre Mendès – France (Grenoble 2) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, in 2007.  Ms. Jáquez participated in the International Legal Training Course: Strategic Directions for the International Practice, organized by New York City’s Bar Association. She is fluent in Spanish and English and has advanced knowledge of French.
