Partner at Headrick since 2003. His professional practice is focused in the areas of litigation, labor matters, banking law, contractual law, commercial law, insurance law, civil responsibility, arbitration, the execution of contracts that involve public or private entities and telecommunications.

Tomás Hernandez Metz has been a professor at the Schools of Law and Business Administration of the Iberoamericana University (UNIBE), in the area of Labor Law.

Dr. Hernández Metz collaborated with the drafting of the section on Labor Legislation for the “Guía del Inversionista 2009” published by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR).

Dr. Hernández Metz received his Bachelor of Laws, Magna Cum Laude, from Universidad Iberoamericana in 1991. In 1994, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Business law and Economic Legislation from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. He is fluent in Spanish and English, and has a basic knowledge of French.
